  • 2-Day Course presented by Westchester Library System’s Westchester Breathes

  • This 12-hour Fundamentals course is for participants who want to experience and practice Breath-Body-Mind™ (BBM) practices. If you are interested in teacher training, note that this is a prerequisite for Level 1 BBM Instructor training.

  • The course is offered both in-person (12 seats) and online (12 seats). Group sessions will be shared by all partiicipants; small groups (both in-person and online) will allow for more tailored instruction and group engagement.

  • Led by: Advanced BBM Teachers Elena Falcone and Ann Fleuchaus

  • Recorded presentations by: Richard P. Brown, MD & Patricia Gerbarg, MD with 90 days free access to BBM Fundamentals course videos on Thinkific to support your BBM practice.

  • Dates: Saturdays; June 6 & 13, 2026

  • Times: 9 am to 4:30 pm ET

On the 2-day BBM Fundamentals Course:

You will learn breathing techniques shown to relieve stress and improve mood, mental focus, and performance. Positive effects have been experienced by individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD and other medical conditions. Many people who have practiced these techniques say that they feel transformed, and they never would have imagined that something so simple could be so effective.

BBM practices are designed to activate mind-body communication pathways, raise energy, regulate mood, enhance performance, reduce inflammation, and help dissolve pain. This training is for anyone who wishes to improve their stress resilience, physical health, and general well-being.

Benefits of Breath-Body-Mind have been shown in healthcare practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, veterans, active-duty military, research studies, and survivors of disasters.
