Breath-Body-Mind™ Weekend Fundamentals Online Course


  • Led by senior BBM Teachers Joanna Harper, Konika Shankar, and Mandy Brinkley

  • September 16 & 17, 2023 7:00 am – 1:30 pm ET [12:00 pm to 6:30 pm – London UK time]

  • Following this course, we highly recommend attending a weekly BBM practice session (45 - 60 minutes) for a minimum of six weeks for BBM Level-1 Instructor Training. You can attend BBM classes prior to BBM Fundamentals training too.

  • This BBM Course, plus the six follow-up sessions, fulfill the prerequisite for BBM Level-1 Teacher Training

The practices are designed to activate mind-body communication pathways, raise energy, regulate mood, enhance performance, reduce inflammation, and help dissolve pain; this training is for anyone who wishes to improve their stress resilience, physical health, and general well-being.

BBM is also ideal for yoga teachers and practitioners, psychologists, therapists, coaches, nurses, doctors, school teachers, first responders, relief workers, NGOs, and administrators who may wish to also attend the Level-1 Breath-Body-Mind Instructor Training.

Benefits of Breath-Body-Mind have been shown in healthcare practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, veterans, active-duty military, research studies, and survivors of disasters.

This BBM Fundamentals Course is registered for 12 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) with the Association for Coaching (AC).

On the 2-day Weekend BBM Fundamentals Course:

You will learn breathing techniques shown to relieve stress and improve mood, mental focus, and performance. Positive effects have been experienced by individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD and other medical conditions. Many people who have practised these techniques say that they feel transformed, and they would never have imagined that something so simple could be so effective.

Through movement, breathing, and relaxation techniques, you will learn to:

  • Reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia

  • Increase lung capacity, oxygenation, and cardio-respiratory health
