Natasha Bervoets, Breathing and Yoga, 200 RYT

Bourgoin-Jallieu, Isere

Fascinated by the power of breathing techniques combined with movement, I became a certified yoga teacher in 2018 at Triyoga in London (200 hours) studying with Max Strom and Valerie Moselle. The same year, I followed the Breath-Body-MindWorkshop and learned coherent breathing with Dr. Richard P. Brown and Dr. Patricia L. Gerbarg, also in London. In June 2020, I completed their Level-1 Teacher Training.

My classes focus on the needs of my students in terms of recovering or enhancing both their physical –flexibility, strength and balance- and their mental well-being –anxiety, stress, sleep problems and tensions. Following my observations and exchanges with students, I developed chair yoga classes, as well as individual sessions to look into specific problems and/or injuries. I continue my research into other techniques that have proven to be as effective as they are accessible, and give group and individual classes focusing on every single person’s energy, mood, capacities, history, needs, to offer as personal, respectful and healing a practice as possible. In August 2020, I begin the 800-hour training in Yoga Therapy given by the Yoga Therapy Institute in The Netherlands. A logical next step for a practice that has evolved almost organically, as if it had always been a part of me, waiting to be discovered and made good use of. Classes in French or English.
