Maria is an experienced HCPC registered music therapist, living in the UK. She has worked with people living with dementia, people with profound and multiple disabilities, and in acute and community mental health care for the NHS.
Maria specializes in Guided Imagery and Music, a music centered psychotherapy, and integrates BBM into her work with people who might be struggling with anxiety and depression, trauma, stress or performance anxiety. (She has also specialized in working with performing artists through the BAPAM scheme.)
Maria has an interest in supporting caregivers through BBM and music, and in working with stressed and overstretched staff teams in the NHS and care settings and hopes to develop this work further.
She works in person and online (globally).
